One-Stop Shop

For 14 years, the One-Stop Shop has been held on the first Saturday of December. This is an opportunity for families living in Detroit’s Brightmoor neighborhood to receive free clothing, food, household items, small appliances, and toys just before Christmas.  Shoppers also get to enjoy a hot meal before or after shopping.

Each year hundreds of families shop at the One-Stop Shop. Each family works with a volunteer who serves as a personal shopper to help adults find just the right items for their family’s needs, while their children enjoy fun activities in another part of the church.
