Educational computer tablets for preschoolers
We provided 20 LeapPad2 tablets with educational apps to a preschool class at the elementary school in Brightmoor. These tablets have been shown to be effective in neighborhoods like Brightmoor for increasing skills with preschool topics like numbers, colors, letters, etc. They can also be used to take photos and video to assemble into a story, encouraging the student’s creativity. These LeapPads can not be used to get on the Internet and the children will be using them at school rather than at home.
